What can I expect when I come to Apostles?
At Apostles, you will receive a warm welcome from our friendly and diverse congregation. Our uplifting and inspiring services feature music, scripture readings, and relevant messages for everyday life. We have created an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can feel at home. You will discover numerous opportunities to connect with others and engage in various activities and events, including youth groups, Bible studies, and community outreach projects. Whether you seek spiritual growth, meaningful connections, or a supportive community, rest assured that you will find it at Apostles. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you and getting to know you better!
Holy Communion
We offer Holy Communion the first and third Sunday of each month during our 9 am service. All those who have been baptized and believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior are welcome to participate in communion. Children in 5th grade or higher who have been instructed in this sacrament are also welcome to commune. If your children do not receive communion, you may bring them with you to receive a blessing. We are ushered by rows to the front of the church where Holy Communion occurs. We receive bread (the Body of Christ), and for the distribution of the cup (the Blood of Christ), you may take a pre-filled cup of grape juice or an empty cup that will be filled with wine. After you drink, put the cup in the basket and return to your seat. Feel free to remain seated if you do not wish to participate in Holy Communion.
Children's Church
During non-communion Sunday worship, we have a special message for children. We welcome all children to come up to the front of the church to hear the message and feel the love of Christ. After the message is delivered, the children are dismissed to attend Children's Church.
On Communion Sunday's, where there is no Children's message, the children will still be dismissed to attend Children's Church if they choose.
Nursery
At Apostles, we provide a nursery for young children. Parents have the option to utilize the nursery during the service, enabling them to worship without disruptions while ensuring their children are well-cared for in a safe and supervised environment.
Parents are not required to place their children in the nursery; we welcome babies in the Sanctuary as well. The nursery is available only if you need it. We want you to feel comfortable doing what's best for your family.
Coffee Hour
Following our Sunday service, we cordially invite you and your family to join us for fellowship in the HeBrews Cafe, located across from our Sanctuary. This gathering, known as Coffee Hour among our congregation, will offer coffee and light refreshments for your enjoyment. We strongly encourage you to stay and interact with some of our members to learn more about our community.
